St. Michael's Church is situated on the Anjuna Beach Road. Constructed in 1595, this church is regarded amongst the oldest churches of Goa. The church is devoted to St. Miguel and is built in the Portuguese architectural style. There is a statue of St. Michael, with a scale in his left hand, in the church. A sculpture of the demon can be spotted under the feet of St. Michael. Another feature of the church is the tabernacle that is situated in the midst of the main altar. Several tourists visit the church to attend the annual feast of St. Michael, held in the month of September.
