The Panch Kedar include Madhyamaheshwar, Kalpeshwar, Kedarnath, Rudranath and Tunganath and it is said that tourists have to trek many kilometres to reach each of these places. The highest of the five is Tunganath and is located at an elevation of 3680 mt above sea level. The trek to Kalpeshwar remains open all through the year and starts from Helang.
